I’m old, so forgive me for this question. Do you need a pre amplifier? I currently have a Denon 6700h and thought I might go the separates route for critical listening. I was also surprised to learn the engineers tuned the amp so that it sounded “warm”. We used to moan and groan that ANY coloration was bad. We wanted transparent amps and music as close to how it was recorded as possible. Times change.

What a lovely story!! Assuming you are moving forward solo?! I also moved back to my home country (but ironically right before the pandemic happened) otherwise I would have been in Germany for quite a bit longer and missing my family like crazy.

The PBV5 looks amazing but my use case is a weekend campervan.

But I would think that if they used their modular internal storage system to create a folding bed/sofa and other ‘camper’ style items. Then this could very easily be the cheapest and best option for electric camping

Been a loyal follower of CH for a long time. But this article is completely misleading and it never mentions the accurate location of where this event was. The Roaring Fork Valley runs from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. Aspen is approximately 18 miles up valley from Basalt/Willits. No comment on the event and though the trucks/cars were kept at our beloved Crown Mountain Park, it didn’t interfere with the local community. But that’s my point. The people who live in Basalt/Carbondale are NOT the uber-wealthy with overbuilt second/third/fourth homes (15k plus square feet) and private jets clogging our airport. We are a diverse community of families just living in a beautiful valley….and we want to keep it that way. Aspen has the cache I’m sure the event planners wanted to capitalize on but the fact is it wasn’t in Aspen. In fact, it is next to where I live and got zero coverage in the local papers. If you are going to report/market an event, at least be accurate with the details.

Enrique Diaz was an instant favorite for our family when we had the good fortune to meet him at La Zebra years ago–at one of the uniquely stunning tables noted in Ms. Katz’s great piece here. We commissioned a table from Enrique to center our Tulum home–with other works from him gracing our walls and gardens outside. Wonderful that La Zebra and Enrique have furthered their synergies with the new Tienda La Zebra.

My Husband and I were on the Aton November/December 2023 Nile River Cruise. It was a magnificent cruise. The boat was just as magnificent as the cruise.
