Oyster, a new Norwegian company, set out to improve the performance of coolers and the result is remarkable. They engineered new solutions to improve every aspect of a standard cooler and Tempo, the result, leapfrogs everything else we’ve seen. It’s a game changer, and here are just some of the ways it’s accomplished it. First, they created a patented vacuum insulation called DTLA that improves the three critical components of maintaining temperature—insulation, circulation and the “thermal bridge”—the connection between the top and bottom of the cooler.
